A bit too verbose for me but I absolutely loved the ending and I loved all the characters, so it worked out better than I initially thought. As with my other summer required reading book, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's, I think it was to my advantage that I had seen the movie before I read the book, otherwise the wordiness would have gotten to me.
